Kingdom Identity
Our Identity is found in Christ Jesus. Ask yourself, do I know who I am? Do I even know who Jesus is? There are a few questions you can ask to lead you to obtaining the answers. Feel free to share below.
Who am I?
What we believe about ourselves matters. “So a man thinks so is he” Proverbs 23:7 Take a moment and write down 3 things you believe about yourself. After you complete this, take time to pray and find scripture that aligns with what you wrote down.
Who does God say I am?
In the book of Jeremiah, we are reminded that before we were formed in our mother’s belly the Lord knew us. Jot down five scriptures that tell you what God says about you. Freebie! You are loved Romans 8:38-39 Nothing can separate you from his love.
Who do people say I am?
In 1 Peter 3:16 KJV it says "Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ". The conversations we have with others should be a representation of Jesus. Ask a few people that you know what think about you. This is not to say what they believe is necessary true but to compare it to what God says about you. It should align with his word.
Romans 5:3-5 NIV “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
